The 52-year-old actor, known for his role in “Adolescence,” expressed gratitude to his wife, Hannah Walters, as he accepted the Best Male Actor award for the acclaimed Netflix drama in front of Hollywood’s elite in Los Angeles.
Following the star-studded awards ceremony, Stephen and Hannah, who also appeared in “Adolescence” together, headed to the afterparty where they appeared affectionate and joyful while dancing among fellow celebrities at Spago, a high-end restaurant in Beverly Hills.
Hannah, a mother of two, exuded happiness as she danced with her husband and other A-listers, donning an elegant gold dress and an updo hairstyle, while Stephen looked dapper in a blue shirt and black trousers.
Earlier in the evening, Stephen publicly praised his wife, acknowledging her role in his life and expressing love for their children, Grace and Alfie. He also dedicated his award to his mother, friends, and family members who have supported him.
The afterparty was attended by Stephen and Hannah’s co-stars, Owen Cooper and Erin Doherty, as well. “Adolescence” had a successful night at the Golden Globes, winning four awards, including Best Limited TV Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for TV.
In the series, which received critical acclaim upon its Netflix release, Stephen and Hannah portrayed parents dealing with the aftermath of their son’s arrest for a classmate’s murder. The couple also served as co-executive producers for the show.
