“WWE Star Chris Benoit’s Haunting Final Message”

A haunting final message from former WWE star Chris Benoit has resurfaced almost twenty years following one of the darkest tragedies in wrestling history. In June 2007, Benoit, a prominent figure in WWE at the time, committed a triple murder-suicide at his residence in Fayetteville, Georgia, taking the lives of his wife Nancy and their seven-year-old son Daniel.

The brutal killings sent shockwaves around the globe and had a profound impact on the world of professional wrestling. Prior to the discovery of the murders, Benoit had sent disturbing messages to his close friend and fellow wrestler, Chavo Guerrero, hinting at the impending tragedy. Notably, Benoit left a chilling voicemail to another friend, indicating that his dogs were outside and the back door was left open, raising suspicions that something was amiss at home.

Concern escalated when Benoit failed to show up at a scheduled WWE pay-per-view event, prompting a welfare check. Authorities arrived at Benoit’s residence on June 25, 2007, where the bodies of Benoit, Nancy, and Daniel were found. Investigations revealed that the murders occurred over a three-day period, with Nancy being strangled first, followed by the sedation and suffocation of Daniel, and ultimately Benoit’s suicide by hanging.

At the time of his death at the age of 40, Benoit was highly regarded for his wrestling skills. However, his legacy was tarnished by the discovery of severe brain damage consistent with chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), likely stemming from repeated head injuries. Despite WWE initially paying tribute to Benoit posthumously, the company swiftly distanced itself from him after the truth emerged. Benoit’s name is rarely mentioned in WWE circles, he has been excluded from the Hall of Fame, and his wrestling accomplishments have been overshadowed by his horrific actions.
