Michael Ryan Burke, aged 42, was reportedly involved in a sale that took a violent turn, resulting in a robbery where his life was taken. Law enforcement officials in Columbia, Missouri, have apprehended three 18-year-olds and one juvenile male, charging them with the murder of Michael. The victim was shot inside his home and succumbed to his injuries upon arrival at the hospital.

Alexis Baumann, 18, faces charges of second-degree murder, first-degree robbery, and first-degree burglary, while Kobe Aust, also 18, is charged with similar offenses. Joseph Crane, 18, was detained on charges including second-degree murder, armed criminal action, robbery, burglary, and weapon misuse. A close friend of Ryan, Jerry Reifeiss, shared the harrowing details of the victim’s final moments in a poignant interview. He described how Ryan’s bravery mirrored his military background as he managed to contact emergency services, provide details about the attackers, and send heartfelt messages to his mother and sister during the tragic ordeal.

Authorities from the Columbia Missouri Police Department confirmed that efforts were made to save Michael’s life, but he ultimately succumbed to the gunshot wounds. The victim’s identity was confirmed as Michael Ryan Burke, and his family has been notified of the tragic incident.

Reflecting on Ryan’s selfless actions, Jerry remarked on his friend’s caring nature and determination to ensure justice prevailed. Ryan’s final acts were driven by his love for his family and his unwavering commitment to protect others even in his final moments.

This incident follows the sentencing of Jazz Reid, who disguised himself as a Deliveroo rider and carried out a targeted shooting where an eight-year-old girl and her father were injured. Reid was sentenced to 38 years in prison for the heinous crime.
