During a recent desert expedition, a traveler captured a striking image of an unidentified flying object (UFO) hovering above the secretive military installation known as Area 51.
The explorer, Anders Otteson, was documenting his journey near the Nevada base on January 14 when he noticed a peculiar sight in the night sky. The UFO, described as having an equilateral triangle shape resembling a ‘Dorito,’ was observed by Otteson at 3am local time. Earlier, Otteson had also spotted a B-2 Spirit aircraft flying over the area, but the UFO he witnessed had a distinct shape compared to the B-2 Spirit.
Running the YouTube channel ‘Uncanny Expeditions,’ Otteson pointed out that the mysterious object lacked wings or flat tailing edges, sparking intrigue about its origin. He pondered whether it was a classified test flight or a routine training exercise, emphasizing the intriguing nature of the sighting.
Further adding to the mystery, Otteson claimed that a radio scanner monitoring frequencies around Area 51 intercepted peculiar coded messages related to food items like “imperial with garlic,” “pretzel snack,” and “fridge hydrate.” Alongside UFO researcher Joerg Arnu, Otteson highlighted these unusual transmissions, hinting at possible military jargon being used.
Despite the enigmatic nature of the ‘Dorito’ UFO sighting, Otteson speculated that it could have been a bomber plane, suggesting that the coded phrases might have been part of military communication protocols.
Interestingly, Otteson mentioned encountering the ‘Dorito’ UFO shape on two previous occasions in different locations back in 2014. The history of Area 51 as a highly secretive military facility has fueled numerous conspiracy theories over the years, with claims of extraterrestrial activities and mysterious sightings persisting among believers. While some allege hidden alien technology at the base, the US government maintains that Area 51 primarily serves as a flight testing site.
In a separate incident last year, a tower spotted via Google Earth at Area 51 sparked speculation about alien technology, triggering concerns among online observers. The discovery of a triangle-shaped tower casting a long shadow on Google Maps further added to the intrigue surrounding the remote military installation.
