Following an extensive operation, the Swiss police arrested the 43-year-old man around 1 a.m. on Monday on suspicions of perpetrating the attack. Law enforcement officials are exploring three potential motives for the shooting: a mass shooting, a terrorist act, or an undisclosed criminal intent. Cartridges recovered at the crime scene suggest the use of two different bullet calibers, indicating the possible use of a pistol and a larger weapon, potentially an assault rifle.
