The equivalent of $1 million in US dollars translates to around £750,000 or €850,000 if the residents decide to become part of the United States.
Despite the significant cost, Trump may view this offer as a minor expense compared to the substantial £595 billion the US allocates to its defense budget. This development comes after the President announced the abandonment of tariffs he had threatened to impose on eight European nations to assert US authority over Greenland.
