Individuals may qualify for £25 payments during cold spells this winter through the Cold Weather Payment initiative.
The Cold Weather Payments for 2025/26 have recently commenced, offering £25 for each period when temperatures drop to zero degrees or lower over seven consecutive days in your area.
Multiple Cold Weather Payments can be received for extended cold spells during the winter season, with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) responsible for issuing these payments.
