“Sky Customers Frustrated by ITVX Glitch”

Some Sky customers are facing an annoying glitch that is affecting the popular ITVX app. Reports of this issue started surfacing late last week, with users voicing their frustration over the app skipping to the end of programs randomly. This unexpected behavior is causing viewers to be abruptly taken to the credits section without any manual fast-forwarding.

On Sky’s forum page, a user named Dazzasky complained about the ITV Player skipping ahead to the end of episodes without warning, making it challenging to watch content smoothly for the past few days. Another user, Dawn, mentioned experiencing similar problems with programs on ITVX, where the show jumps to the end unexpectedly, often at the start or after ad breaks.

The disruptions seem to be affecting users with Sky’s online devices, such as Sky Stream boxes and Glass TVs. While it remains unclear if Sky Q is also impacted, most complaints are coming from individuals using broadband-powered devices rather than satellite dishes.

Despite the lack of clarity on the root cause of these issues, a Sky representative named Kev has acknowledged the problem and assured users that efforts are underway to address it. Kev expressed understanding of the frustration caused by the glitch and confirmed that the company is collaborating with ITV to resolve the issue. Updates on the progress will be shared once more information becomes available.

For now, users may have to endure the skipping problems until a solution is implemented. Mirror Online will provide updates on this matter as new developments unfold.
