EE has introduced new SIM plans designed to address a common issue faced by many customers – running out of data while on the move. The latest pay-as-you-go SIMs from EE will now come with a complimentary feature called “Data Parachute”, offering users an automatic 1GB data boost if they unexpectedly exhaust their data allowance.
According to EE, the “Data Parachute” feature aims to keep customers connected for essential tasks like communication, navigation, or accessing online services until they can top up their data. These new plans, starting at £10 per month, also include additional perks such as data rollover and free data boosts to enhance customer experience.
In addition to these benefits, EE pay-as-you-go customers can enjoy access to the 5G network, delivering improved performance and faster speeds compared to traditional networks. The pricing for the new plans is as follows:
– £10 for 20GB
– £15 for 75GB
– £20 for 150GB
– £30 for 200GB
– £35 for Unlimited data
While EE’s Data Parachute feature sets it apart, other providers offer competitive deals as well. For instance, SMARTY provides 80GB for £8 per month or Unlimited data for £20, and Giffgaff offers 75GB for £10 per month and 60GB for £13. It’s advisable for consumers to compare offerings and select a plan that aligns with their data usage needs to optimize cost-effectiveness.
