The well-known host of Countryfile received an outpouring of support as he discussed his ongoing battle with severe back problems and expressed his determination to address the issue. Known for his openness about personal challenges, the former Blue Peter and The One Show star informed his followers about the struggles he has faced.
Taking to Instagram, Matt posted a video announcing his plans to create a rustic gym in a stable, aiming to reignite his past active lifestyle. He disclosed, “For the last few years, I’ve been dealing with chronic back pain, and I’ve honestly felt like a massive part of me has been missing.” Determined to push through the obstacles, he shared his intention to gradually work his way back into physical fitness with the help of his gymnastics experience. In the video, Matt showcased the location where his gym would be constructed, emphasizing his commitment to getting back in shape.
