“Conor McGregor Endorses UFC’s White House Fight Card”

Conor McGregor has shown his approval for the UFC’s upcoming White House fight card, even though he is not slated to compete in it.

Initially expected to headline a bout on President Donald Trump’s front lawn against Michael Chandler on June 14, McGregor is now looking towards a fight the following month. UFC CEO Dana White recently revealed the White House card, with Ilia Topuria defending his lightweight title against Justin Gaethje in the main event.

In a surprising move, Alex Pereira is set to move up to the heavyweight division to face Ciryl Gane for the interim belt in the co-main event. Despite not being part of the card, McGregor shared the fight lineup on social media, expressing his support with the caption “love it” and later describing it as “a great card.”

McGregor had previously mentioned his eagerness to return to the cage but was uncertain about the timing. He had expressed interest in a potential fight against Chandler, indicating a strong desire to compete. The Irish fighter also hinted at his comeback at welterweight, emphasizing his readiness to accept any suitable opponent and eagerly awaiting a formal offer to seal his return to the octagon.
