Carey Price is set to receive recognition at the Bell Centre, where he has spent his entire NHL career. The Montreal Canadiens revealed that Price will be honored on Nov. 10 for his upcoming Hall of Fame induction, which is scheduled for the day prior.
As the 62nd member of the organization to enter the Hall of Fame, Price will join the Bell Centre’s Ring of Honour, a distinction reserved for former players who have achieved greatness in hockey. Having played all 15 years of his career in Montreal, Price holds the franchise record for games played and victories as a goaltender, boasting a 251 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage over 712 games.
The celebration will take place during a game against the Minnesota Wild. Price, a seven-time all-star, was selected fifth overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
The Canadiens will commence their pre-season on Sept. 19, with the regular season opener scheduled for Sept. 29 against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
