“Toronto Raptors to Open NBA Season Against Chicago Bulls on Home Court”

The Toronto Raptors are set to kick off the upcoming NBA season with a home game at Scotiabank Arena, marking the 14th time in the last 15 years that they have started the season on their home court. The NBA unveiled the complete schedule for the 2026-27 season on Thursday, with the Raptors scheduled to face off against the Chicago Bulls on October 21 in their season opener. Following their home opener, the Raptors will hit the road to play against the Washington Wizards two days later.

Noteworthy matchups at home include consecutive games against the reigning champions, the New York Knicks, on November 15 and 17, as well as a faceoff against Victor Wembanyama’s San Antonio Spurs on December 10 and a clash with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder on March 10. January will be a busy month for the Raptors, with 17 games on the schedule, including a six-game homestand. Additionally, the team is slated to play 15 back-to-back games during the season, seven of which require no travel.

Eighty out of Toronto’s 82 games have been announced, with the remaining two to be scheduled following the conclusion of the in-season NBA Cup tournament. Despite their absence from the Christmas Day lineup, a tradition that has persisted since their 2019 championship season, the Raptors are gearing up for an action-packed season ahead.
