Lenovo has introduced a strong contender against Apple’s iPad dominance with the launch of their Tab Plus Gen 2 tablet. Featuring a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision visuals, the device competes head-to-head with its rivals in the tablet market.
Setting itself apart, the Tab Plus Gen 2 boasts a unique design element in the form of a large circular speaker powered by JBL technology, offering enhanced audio quality for entertainment purposes. The tablet can also transform into a Bluetooth speaker, setting the stage for immersive sound experiences with Dolby Atmos support. Additionally, the device includes a built-in kickstand with a rotating 360 design, allowing users to enjoy content in both landscape and portrait modes while enhancing portability.
Under the hood, the Tab Plus Gen 2 packs a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, a sizable 10,200mAh battery with fast charging capabilities, and 128GB of storage that can be expanded using an SD Card. Priced at £369 on the Lenovo website, the Tab Plus Gen 2 presents a compelling alternative to Apple’s iPad lineup, with the base iPad starting at £429 and the upgraded Air model priced at £749.
