Trump Slams ICE Protests as “Fake Riots” in Detroit

In a fiery speech in Detroit, Donald Trump dismissed protests against ICE in Minnesota as “fake riots,” insinuated the participants were staged and labeled a racist slogan. Following the tragic shooting of Renee Good by an ICE agent in Minneapolis, Trump suggested that those demonstrating against his immigration policies were “practiced” and insincere. He criticized a video showing a woman shouting “shame” at the agent, deeming her “not normal” and a “professional troublemaker.”

During his address to the Detroit Economic Club, Trump alleged that the protests were orchestrated, claiming they were rehearsed in hotel rooms. He hinted at uncovering the funding sources behind the demonstrations. Additionally, Trump targeted Ilhan Omar, a House Representative from Minnesota, with a racially charged attack, implying imprisonment for those involved in fraudulent activities.

Trump’s speech included accusations against Omar, questioning her integrity and mocking her background. He accused her of being a scam artist and insinuated that she is detrimental to the country. Trump also threatened to revoke the US citizenship of individuals from Somalia convicted of fraud, despite legal limitations on citizenship revocation. He emphasized a crackdown on fraud and corruption to restore America’s essence and energy.

Furthermore, Trump expressed intentions to cease funding to Minnesota and Sanctuary Cities, citing concerns about protecting criminals over American citizens. He pledged to combat fraud, crime, and other issues by withholding financial support from jurisdictions that shield undocumented immigrants. Trump emphasized the importance of cracking down on illegal activities and returning America to its core values.
