“Posthumous Memoir Exposes Epstein Abuse Nightmare”

Virginia Giuffre revealed the extensive abuse she suffered under Jeffrey Epstein and his associates after her death. Shortly after her suicide in April 2025, her posthumous memoir, “Nobody’s Girl,” was published. The memoir detailed her journey from a trafficked teenage spa worker to an advocate for survivors worldwide. Despite becoming a bestseller, Virginia, who was 41 at the time of her death, never witnessed the impact of her voice being heard. The book highlighted the torment she faced while under the control of Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, alleging abuse from prominent individuals.

In her memoir, Virginia recounted being exploited and degraded by numerous wealthy and powerful figures while with Epstein and Maxwell. She described instances of being choked, beaten, and feeling like she might die as a sex slave. Virginia also accused a well-known politician of brutally raping her when she was 18 years old. She detailed how the politician enjoyed her fear and suffering, even laughing at her pleas to stop.

When Virginia confided in Epstein about the assault, he callously dismissed her concerns. Despite her tearful pleas, Epstein refused to protect her from the politician’s brutality, insinuating that such abuse was not uncommon. Tragically, this was not the last time Virginia encountered the politician. Epstein later compelled her to engage in sexual activities with an unnamed individual on his private plane, where she realized she was once again in the presence of her abuser.

This encounter marked a turning point for Virginia, prompting her to cease recruiting girls for Epstein. Drawing from her experiences, she later founded Speak Out, Act, Reclaim (SOAR), a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering survivors of sex trafficking.

In June 2022, Maxwell was sentenced to twenty years in prison for her involvement in sex trafficking and other crimes related to Epstein. Epstein, a convicted sex offender, died in jail in August 2019 under circumstances deemed a suicide.
