In commemoration of the first anniversary of the 100-Year Partnership between the UK and Ukraine, Charles issued a written statement as the fourth anniversary of Russia’s invasion approaches. Reports indicate that Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy has traveled to Ukraine for a forum on the centenary partnership to discuss future collaboration between the two countries.
Addressing the Ukrainian people, the King conveyed his heartfelt thoughts and prayers as the painful memory of the full-scale invasion draws near. He expressed his deep desire for Ukraine to attain a just and enduring peace that upholds its well-being and rights. Charles reiterated the UK’s unwavering support for Ukraine during these challenging times.
