Virgin Media users who subscribe to Sky Entertainment channels will enjoy a complimentary addition of Sky Atlantic starting next month. This enhancement, available to Virgin TV 360 and Stream box customers, will be accessible on screens beginning April 1. To access Sky Atlantic programming, users can simply tune in to channel 111 on the Virgin TV platform or enjoy on-demand content via Virgin TV Go.
David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, emphasized the seamless entertainment experience offered to customers, with Sky Atlantic providing captivating drama and compelling stories from the UK and US. This addition comes at no extra cost to over a million Virgin TV customers.
In a related update, Sky has introduced a new Ultimate TV plan featuring premium channels, Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app. Priced at £24, this plan will be available on Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms. Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, hailed this move as a “new era,” uniting Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu under one subscription.
This latest development from Virgin Media coincides with Sky’s ongoing efforts to enhance its offerings, creating a diverse and comprehensive entertainment experience for viewers.
