“Venezuelan Leader Offers Nobel Peace Prize to Trump”

Venezuela’s opposition leader recently stirred controversy by suggesting she would offer her Nobel Peace Prize to Donald Trump, citing accusations that she had committed a grave offense against the US President.

MarĂa Corina Machado was awarded the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize for her ongoing resistance against the Venezuelan regime. While many viewed her as a potential leader in Venezuela’s political landscape, her acceptance of the prestigious award seemed to sour relations with Trump.

According to sources in Washington, Trump felt entitled to the peace prize and believed Machado should have bestowed it upon him. In response, Machado expressed her willingness to personally present the award to Trump.

The Nobel Peace Prize was granted to Machado on October 10 for her relentless fight against dictatorship. In an unconventional move, she dedicated the prize to Trump, showering him with praise that some found unsettling.

Despite her intentions, a D.C. insider criticized Machado for holding onto the award, labeling it as the “ultimate sin” and suggesting that had she declined it in protest of Trump, she might have been in a stronger position to lead Venezuela.

In a recent interview with Fox News, Machado reiterated her admiration for Trump’s actions, including the arrest of Maduro, which she hailed as a significant step forward for humanity amid the shifting political landscape in Venezuela.

When questioned about potentially relinquishing her Nobel Peace Prize to honor Trump, Machado did not dismiss the idea, expressing a desire to convey the sentiments of the Venezuelan people who view the prize as a symbol of their aspirations.

Maduro’s vice president, Delcy RodrĂguez, was sworn in as interim president of Venezuela, expressing a desire to establish positive relations with Trump and inviting the US to engage in collaborative efforts focused on mutual development within the framework of international law.

However, Trump issued a warning, indicating that if RodrĂguez does not align with his expectations, she may face severe consequences, potentially more severe than those faced by Maduro.
