Sky TV customers are in for a treat with a recent free upgrade that grants them access to Disney+ as part of the Sky Ultimate plan. This complimentary £5.99 perk means subscribers can now enjoy a range of content from Pixar, Star Wars, Disney, and Marvel without any additional charges.
The enhanced Sky Ultimate package doesn’t stop at Disney+. Soon, subscribers will also have access to HBO Max Basic and Hayu, expanding the entertainment offerings. Integration across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q ensures a seamless viewing experience with Disney+ content appearing in features like Continue Watching, search, and voice control.
Moreover, Sky Cinema subscribers will benefit from a new dedicated Disney+ Cinema channel. For those not yet on Sky, the Sky Ultimate package is available to all UK households starting at £24 per month, offering a comprehensive entertainment bundle.
The £24 plan includes Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads, HBO Max Basic with Ads (launching soon), full access to Hayu from July, and over 130 Sky channels. Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, emphasized the convenience of having Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu under one subscription, streamlining the viewing experience for customers.
Existing customers will enjoy the expanded lineup at no extra cost, and NOW Entertainment users will receive HBO Max within the app without additional charges. Sky’s aim is to simplify streaming and provide a more cohesive viewing experience for its audience.
