A woman who had a romantic relationship with Prince Harry in the past was recently arrested in Majorca for allegedly leaving a hotel without settling a bill of nearly £450.
Catherine Ommanney, a 53-year-old reality TV personality, was taken into custody on suspicion of fraud after the hotel management reported her to the authorities. She was accused of departing from the three-star Playas del Rey Hotel in Santa Ponsa, near Magaluf, without paying a bill totaling over €500 (£434) for a nine-day stay.
Police have confirmed her arrest, and she appeared before a judge in Palma, Majorca, on the same day. Catherine, an interior designer and one of the original cast members of the Real Housewives of DC, had allegedly made the hotel reservation using a card that had insufficient funds.
Following her release on bail pending further investigation, Catherine did not comment on the situation. She had disclosed details of her past relationship with Prince Harry in 2006, emphasizing his demeanor and their interactions during that time.
In response to the recent allegations, Catherine stated, “It’s all bulls##t. The bill was paid,” and mentioned having evidence of the payment. She intends to seek an apology through legal channels for what she perceives as a technical error on the hotel’s part.
As of now, court officials have not provided any updates on the resolution of the case or the status of the investigation.
