Police have released CCTV footage as part of the search for a woman who has been missing for over two weeks. Helen Eade, aged 59, was reported missing after leaving Maidstone Hospital on September 16. Kent Police stated that she does not drive and investigations revealed she took a bus from the hospital to Pembury before getting off in Wateringbury.
Detective Sergeant Angela Holder expressed increasing concern for Helen’s well-being and urged the public to provide any information regarding her whereabouts in Wateringbury between 4pm and 6pm on September 16. Drivers and residents are asked to check their dashcams, doorbell cameras, and CCTV footage for any sightings, focusing on areas like Bow Road and near the train station. Additionally, people who visited Teston Country Park are encouraged to report if they recognize Helen from the images.
Following CCTV inquiries, Kent Police confirmed a subsequent sighting of Helen at 9.22am on September 28 inside a coffee shop at Maidstone East train station. Helen is described as a white female, approximately 5ft 9in tall, slim, with blue eyes and short brown hair. She was last seen wearing pink jogging bottoms, a grey hooded top, and a black Parka style jacket with a fur hood.
