Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have officially completed their divorce proceedings, just over three months after Nicole initiated the process. The 58-year-old actress and the 57-year-old musician have swiftly come to an agreement, deciding to divide their substantial property assets, estimated to be worth around $282 million (£210 million), as reported. The settlement was reached in a Nashville court.
As part of the settlement, Nicole will have primary custody of their daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15, without Keith being required to pay monthly child support. Additionally, neither party will provide spousal support, according to reports. Nicole is set to have the children for 306 days per year, while Keith will have them for 59 days annually, equivalent to every other weekend.
Court documents obtained from US Weekly revealed that Nicole and Keith agreed on a parenting plan in early September. They have committed to refraining from speaking negatively about each other or their respective families and have pledged to support the children in maintaining positive relationships with both parents.
In separate court filings obtained from the Daily Mail, it was disclosed that the couple’s real estate holdings will be equitably divided to satisfy both parties, allowing them to retain their current properties. Nicole and Keith jointly own various properties, including a luxury duplex in Manhattan, a residence in Beverly Hills, a mansion in Nashville, and an estate in Australia’s Southern Highlands in New South Wales.
The decision by Nicole and Keith to end their 19-year marriage was first reported in September 2025. Sources indicated that their busy careers and a lack of intimacy contributed to their drifting apart. Despite their long history together, the couple had reportedly struggled to spend time together due to their conflicting schedules.
Public tension between Nicole and Keith became evident in recent months, with the couple not appearing together publicly since the beginning of the year. In a radio interview in July, Urban abruptly ended the conversation following a question about Kidman’s film roles, highlighting potential underlying strains in their relationship.
