In a recent episode, David and Shona discover that the planned surgeon is unavailable, prompting the hospital to bring in Dr. Vincent Harper from Bristol. Anxious about the expertise of the new surgeon, David and Shona remain concerned.
During the operation, Dr. Harper performs a tracheostomy to help the baby breathe, ensuring a successful outcome for both mother and child. Dr. Harper informs them that a future surgery will address the neck mass.
The actor playing Dr. Vincent Harper, John Hollingworth, has a notable acting history, having appeared in various TV shows and movies. His previous roles include Captain Henshawe in BBC’s Poldark and Professor Sam Bradman in Doc Martin.
