“Infant Found in Critical Condition, Two Arrested for GBH”

A male infant is currently hospitalized in critical condition following his discovery in a precarious state, leading to the apprehension of a 25-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man by law enforcement authorities.

The young child was swiftly transported to a medical facility after first responders reached the location in Cambridgeshire on Saturday and found him in a state described as “life-threatening.”

Medical professionals administered immediate care to the infant on-site before transferring him to the hospital.

Emergency services were alerted at 11 a.m. on January 3, prompting a rapid police response to St John’s Chase in March.

The man and woman were detained by officers on suspicion of causing serious bodily harm (GBH) and possessing illicit substances from Class B and C categories.

A representative from Cambridgeshire Police stated, “We received a call from the ambulance service around 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, regarding an incident at St John’s Chase, March, where medical personnel were attending to a seriously ill baby boy.”

The spokesperson continued, “The infant was taken to the hospital and is currently in critical condition. A 25-year-old female and a 22-year-old male, both residents of March, have been arrested on suspicion of causing serious bodily harm (GBH) and possession of Class B/C drugs.”
