The 35-year-old former Made In Chelsea personality, who is the sister of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! winner, Sam Thompson, faced a challenging birth experience in 2021, where she almost lost her life due to complications. Following an emergency caesarean, she suffered significant blood loss, further exacerbated by a haemorrhage at home, leading to her waking up in intensive care.
In an update, Louise disclosed that Leo was hospitalized for bleeding tonsils, accompanied by a photo of him in the hospital with a canula. She reassured her followers that Leo was responding well to treatment, expressing hope that it was just a temporary setback. She expressed gratitude for the support received and praised the care provided by the medical staff.
Looking ahead, Louise mentioned her interest in expanding her family with her partner, Ryan Libbey, after feeling prepared following Leo’s challenging birth. She shared a heartwarming image of Ryan and Leo with a caption expressing her desire for a new addition to their family.
In a recent post on her Substack platform, Louise discussed her aspiration for family growth in the coming year, emphasizing a focus on health and prosperity. She highlighted her previous health struggles, including post-natal complications and Asherman’s Syndrome after Leo’s birth, as well as having a stoma bag fitted in 2024 due to ulcerative colitis.
