Luke Littler has made it clear that he will not be joining his friend Angry Ginge in the jungle following the YouTuber’s recent success on a reality TV show. Despite being one of the first to congratulate Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, on winning “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here,” professional darts champion Littler has firmly stated that he has no interest in participating in the grueling challenges of the show.
The 18-year-old darts prodigy from Warrington has set his boundaries, refusing to partake in tasks such as consuming unusual animal parts for entertainment purposes. Littler expressed his stance, saying that despite initially considering it for the right compensation, he now firmly believes that he could not endure the challenges of being away from home, eating peculiar foods, and facing daunting trials.
Reflecting on his decision, Littler emphasized his reluctance by highlighting the distance from home and the unappetizing nature of the tasks involved. He particularly mentioned the challenges faced by other contestants, like rapper Aitch, and firmly stated that he would never subject himself to such experiences.
Burtwistle, the winner of the reality show, emerged victorious after spending three weeks in the Australian rainforest, with Tom Read Wilson as the runner-up and Eastenders actress Shona McGarty securing third place. In the final trial, Angry Ginge faced snakes and insects in a task called “Helmet of Hell,” while Read Wilson had to consume unconventional foods like camel’s brain and pig’s vagina.
Following his friend’s triumph, Littler celebrated by attending a football match between Manchester United and Wolves, where he was spotted by TV cameras alongside United’s head of fan engagement, Rick McGagh. United’s captain, Bruno Fernandes, acknowledged Littler’s presence at the game and interacted with him on social media, symbolizing their shared passion for sports.
