Dart Champion Luke Littler Considers I’m a Celeb Jungle

Luke Littler humorously mentioned that he might entertain the idea of venturing into the I’m a Celebrity jungle if a staggering £50 million offer was on the table, despite being deterred by this year’s show.

The 18-year-old dart player has been closely following this season’s show to support his friend, Angry Ginge. Speculation arose about Littler joining the show after Ginge’s participation, with Littler indicating his openness if the financial incentive was right.

When asked about the possibility of following in Ginge’s footsteps, Littler responded, “Maybe, if the price is right. I could consider going for a few weeks.” However, he has since clarified that the thought of joining Ant and Dec in the jungle no longer appeals to him.

During an interview with talkSPORT, Littler expressed his change of heart, stating, “I initially said I’d go in for the money, but after witnessing all the challenges, I’ve had a change of heart! It’s just not something I could do.”

Although initially declining a £10 million offer to participate, Littler hesitated when the interviewer proposed a substantial £50 million, responding with a tentative “maybe.” He cited his aversion to snakes and other challenges as reasons for his reluctance.

While Angry Ginge prepares for upcoming trials, Littler gears up to defend his title at the upcoming PDC World Darts Championship at Ally Pally next month. Last year, he made history as the youngest dart world champion and now returns as the sport’s new world No. 1.

Littler aims to emulate Gary Anderson by becoming the first player in a decade to retain the Sid Waddell trophy. His defense commences with a match against Darius Labanauskas on December 11.
