“Masked Passenger’s Disturbance Forces Emergency Landing”

A disruptive incident occurred on a Sun Country Airlines flight from Minneapolis to Newark, New Jersey, last Friday when a passenger wearing multiple face masks started yelling about gay people causing him cancer and proclaimed that the plane was going down. The unruly behavior led to the aircraft making an unscheduled landing.

Witness Seth Evans, who was seated nearby, recounted that the commotion began shortly after takeoff, with the passenger claiming he was being pursued by gay individuals and accusing them of harming him with radiation. The disruptive individual wore at least 15 masks and intermittently shouted about President Trump while pausing to play Candy Crush on his mobile device.

Upon landing at O’Hare International Airport, Chicago police detained the disruptive passenger, and US Marshals questioned other travelers before the flight resumed to its destination. Sun Country Airlines confirmed that the situation was handled without incident and thanked passengers for their understanding.

In a separate incident, a Jet2 flight was diverted after a drunk passenger spat on another traveler. Courtney Maich and her partner were removed from the flight by German police after causing disturbances, including refusing to comply with crew instructions and engaging in disruptive behavior. Maich’s aggressive actions, including spitting on a fellow passenger, led to their removal from the aircraft in Cologne.

Video footage of Maich’s arrest was widely circulated on social media following the disruptive episode.
