His extensive law enforcement background spanning nearly three decades included roles such as leading the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team and the anti-gang Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit.
John Brewer, now serving as the interim commanding officer for the RCMP in British Columbia, was praised by Duheme for his leadership capabilities and standing within the RCMP’s senior management team. Brewer, a former assistant commissioner with the RCMP, has taken over the role with full confidence from the RCMP Commissioner.
