“Trump and Musk Reconcile at Kirk’s Funeral, Hint at Future Partnerships”

US President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk have had a complicated relationship, but recent events suggest a reconciliation between the two. Trump reportedly expressed that he had missed Musk, signaling a thaw in their public feud.

Before the 2016 US presidential election, Musk voiced his approval of Hillary Clinton’s economic and environmental policies in an interview with CNBC. He criticized Trump’s character, indicating a preference for Democratic candidate Andrew Yang in 2019.

Despite Trump’s usual harsh criticisms of his detractors, he praised Musk as a “great genius” during the 2020 World Economic Forum, emphasizing the importance of cherishing innovative minds like Musk’s in society.

The duo later collaborated on Musk’s “DOGE” initiative, which was touted to save $205 billion, although some sources estimated it incurred costs of $21.7 billion. However, their partnership soured with Musk condemning Trump’s signature “Big Beautiful Bill” as a “disgusting abomination.”

Following the tragic death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, Trump and Musk set aside their differences to attend his funeral. They were seen exchanging friendly words, with Trump expressing his eagerness to reconnect and stating, “I’ve missed you.”

The encounter took place amidst discussions about organizing a UFC exhibition tournament on the White House grounds to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Trump hinted at the event’s grandeur, suggesting it would feature a championship fight with thousands in attendance, possibly including MMA star Conor McGregor.

The unlikely reunion between Trump and Musk at Kirk’s funeral signals a potential reconciliation between the two influential figures, paving the way for future collaborations.
