The songs sung during the protest were inspired by similar movements in the United States, where activists brave extreme conditions to support immigrants. The melodies continued to resonate in London, accompanied by police helicopters and the drumbeats of Extinction Rebellion, culminating at Trafalgar Square.
Meanwhile, as the march unfolded in London, America witnessed what was heralded as one of the largest protests in its history, the third No Kings protest with over 3,000 events across 50 states. The songs of solidarity transcended borders, echoing a shared fight against common adversaries like hatred and division.
