“Sam Thompson to Undergo Vocal Surgery”

Sam Thompson has shared that he will undergo a surgery that will temporarily affect his ability to speak. The TV personality confirmed the need for the upcoming procedure during a conversation with his close friend Pete Wicks on their podcast, Staying Relevant. This revelation coincided with Pete also discussing his own health issues.

The 37-year-old former TOWIE star mentioned that he had a fall at home recently and is seeking guidance regarding the incident. He admitted missing an appointment related to the matter last month. During the discussion, Sam interjected by pointing out that both he and Pete will be undergoing surgeries this year.

Sam then disclosed that he is planning to venture into music and therefore needs surgery on his vocal cords. He clarified to Pete that he has a cyst on his vocal cords that requires removal, necessitating three days of vocal rest post-surgery.

According to the NHS, vocal cord nodules are benign growths that typically form from prolonged vocal cord strain. These swellings occur at the edges of the vocal cords, located in the voice box.

As Sam prepares for the procedure, it remains uncertain whether his new girlfriend, Talitha Balinska, will be present to support him. The couple went public with their relationship last month and spent Christmas together. Sam recently posted a cozy photo with Talitha on social media, dispelling speculations about his relationship status.

Despite a previous photo with his cat sparking rumors of singleness, Sam put those rumors to rest by sharing a selfie with Talitha on his Instagram stories. The image showed the couple smiling, with Sam adding a red heart emoji to express affection.
