A renowned dancer and choreographer from Dancing With The Stars has passed away at 47 in his residence in Curitiba. Léo Blanco was discovered unresponsive at his flat, and the cause of death remains undisclosed.

Hailing from Cascavel in southern Brazil, Léo gained prominence on the Brazilian version of Dancing With The Stars, known as Dança dos Famosos, resembling the format of Strictly Come Dancing.

Mariana Xavier, an actress who partnered with Léo in 2017, expressed her sorrow on social media, highlighting his role as a mentor and partner in fulfilling their shared dream. Describing him as a kind and generous individual, she reminisced about his lasting impact.

Leo’s passion for dance, cultivated from a young age, led him to a career as a personal trainer. His dance journey commenced during university, where he led two dance troupes, ultimately propelling him to stardom on Dança dos Famosos.

Apart from Mariana, he also danced with singer Luisa Sonza and later with Lucy Ramos, achieving victory in 2020. Subsequently, he was succeeded by Reginaldo Sama.

Following his untimely demise, Leo’s social media platforms were flooded with tributes from fans and acquaintances. Messages lamenting his departure and praising his character poured in, highlighting his amiable nature and cherished conversations.

Leo frequently delighted his followers with shirtless snapshots showcasing his well-toned physique, often sharing workout videos and glimpses of his travels, including a recent visit to Rio De Janeiro.
