“Prince Harry to Face Legal Battle in UK, No Meeting with King Charles Expected”

Prince Harry is not expected to have a meeting with his estranged father, King Charles, during his upcoming visit to the UK. The Duke of Sussex is set to return to London soon for the commencement of legal proceedings against Associated Newspapers, the publisher of the Daily Mail.

On his previous trip to London in September, Harry and his father had a long-anticipated reunion after 19 months apart. They shared afternoon tea, and Harry later praised his father. The trial at the High Court is scheduled to begin on January 19, coinciding with the King’s traditional post-Christmas stay in Scotland at Balmoral.

Royal sources disclosed that the King prefers not to be associated with any court affairs and, therefore, will keep his distance from his son during this period. In a previous interview with the BBC, Harry mentioned that the King had not been communicating with him due to a legal dispute over security issues with the Home Office. The Home Office has now reportedly ordered a new threat assessment, potentially reinstating Harry’s taxpayer-funded armed security for UK visits.

Concerns over security threats have been raised, with a known stalker of Harry being found near him during a visit to the UK last September. This incident, along with other threats, has led Harry to delay bringing his children back to the UK until adequate security measures are in place.

While a Sussexes spokesperson declined to comment, a government representative emphasized the UK’s stringent protective security system. Detailed security arrangements are not disclosed to maintain their effectiveness and individuals’ safety.
