Cove UK, the umbrella organization for various holiday parks in the UK, has gone into administration. This development impacts a total of 11 sites, with eight of them falling under Argyll Holidays, acquired by Cove UK for £100 million in 2022. The remaining holiday parks affected include Solway Holiday Park, Gwel an Mor Resort, and Springwood Holiday Park. Administrators are currently looking into potential sale options for the business and have communicated this news to park owners.
If you have a reservation at one of the resorts, administrators advise reaching out to the site manager. The resorts affected by the administration are as follows: Solway Holiday Park, Gwel an Mor Resort, Springwood Holiday Park, and others. However, Seal Bay Resort in West Sussex remains unaffected and is operating as usual. Alvarez & Marsal Europe has been appointed to oversee the administration process for Cove Communities Holiday Park UK Holdco Limited (HPUK), as well as its subsidiaries including Gwel an Mor OpCo Ltd, Solway OpCo Ltd, Springwood OpCo Ltd, and Argyll OpCo Ltd.
Alvarez & Marsal Europe stated, “Our primary objective as administrators is to ensure a seamless transition and maintain stability across the parks.
