“Trump Eyes $700B Deal for Greenland Amid Diplomatic Tensions”

President Donald Trump has been informed that a payment of around £500 billion may be necessary if he intends to purchase Greenland. The financial caution was issued by America’s Arctic commissioner, Thomas Dans, a key proponent of the President’s interest in Greenland. Despite skepticism from Greenland officials about the idea of the U.S. acquiring the territory, Trump is reportedly determined to move quickly, potentially within weeks or months.

Reports suggest that the White House could face a bill as high as $700 billion to achieve the President’s ambition, as indicated by sources familiar with the estimated cost. This move is seen as a tactic to exert pressure on Greenland and Denmark to engage in negotiations. Trump expressed his desire to strike a deal with Greenland, emphasizing the strategic importance of owning the territory to prevent potential occupation by Russia or China.

In line with this agenda, Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio are scheduled to meet with the foreign ministers of Denmark and Greenland at the White House. Meanwhile, Denmark is said to be dispatching military reinforcements to Greenland in response to Trump’s escalating overtures. The Danish Army is reportedly sending advance units to Greenland to lay the groundwork for potential larger deployments in the future.
