“Live Stream Tragedy: Creator Dies Consuming Drugs On Camera”

A content creator tragically passed away during a live stream challenge where he consumed cocaine and alcohol for a select group of paying subscribers.

Sergio Jimenez Ramos was found deceased in his room, positioned on his knees with his body rigid, head resting on the mattress, and one hand holding his phone. Upon discovery, his family uncovered a nearly empty whisky bottle, two energy drink cans, and a pile of cocaine on a red tray.

Witnesses listening in on the live stream allegedly heard comments questioning Sergio’s consumption progress, urging him to finish the whisky bottle. Emergency responders arrived at the family’s location in Vilanova i la Geltrú, near Barcelona, where Sergio, aged 37, was pronounced dead on the early hours of December 31.

Investigators suspect that Sergio perished during a private video session for subscribers who paid to watch him consume a bottle of whisky and six grams of cocaine within a short span of time. Sergio had been banned from various public streaming platforms previously due to violations related to drug use.

In October, he began participating in live broadcasts and private video sessions arranged by another streamer, Simón Pérez Golarons, known for extreme online stunts. Simon mentioned that Sergio joined the group independently and took a significant amount of substances on the fatal evening.

Despite rumors linking him to Sergio’s demise, Simon denied any responsibility, emphasizing that he had cautioned Sergio about the dangers of excessive drug consumption. Sergio, who had a history of substance abuse and was undergoing psychiatric treatment, is now mourned by his family seeking justice.

Authorities are investigating donations made to Sergio’s account and pursuing individuals involved in the tragic incident. Friends of Sergio expressed anger towards those who facilitated his harmful actions, accusing them of contributing to his death by providing substances.
