A father has been remembered fondly by his family following his tragic death in a car accident. Stephen Jones, aged 33, sustained serious injuries in the crash on Christmas Eve and passed away on January 3.

His 34-year-old partner is currently in a stable but serious condition in the hospital, while their eight-year-old son suffered minor injuries and is now being looked after by extended family members.

Following the incident, a 32-year-old man from Liverpool was apprehended at the crash site. Authorities disclosed that the man has been released on bail with specific conditions and is currently under investigation for offenses related to dangerous driving and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
